Why the practice began
Digital Trackbase grew from founder Mina Voss’s work supporting international colleagues arriving in Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region. Again and again, the hardest moment came before a viewing: deciding which city was genuinely feasible, what “affordable” meant after ancillary costs, and which compromises would still feel acceptable after six months.
Mina formalised that work into an independent advisory practice. She has spent eleven years between Germany and Thailand, including relocation coordination, intercultural orientation and housing-search preparation. That experience informs the questions she asks; it does not replace legal, immigration or estate-agency expertise.
The person behind your plan
Mina leads every consultation. There is no hand-off to a call centre. Her role is to make assumptions visible, compare locations on common criteria and leave clients with decisions they understand.
Working principles
Specific before sweeping. A direct rail route, attainable warm rent and appropriate school journey tell us more than a city ranking.
Boundaries made clear. We do not broker apartments, promise tenancies or interpret German law. When a question needs a lawyer, tax adviser or licensed estate agent, we say so.
Respect for the life already built. Moving from Thailand or elsewhere means carrying routines, family responsibilities and expectations across borders. Advice should acknowledge those realities rather than treating relocation as a blank slate.
A useful plan over a perfect prediction. Rental markets change. We prepare a primary route, a workable fallback and the questions needed to adjust.
